Thin old Delta Perm Enamel

How do you thin old, thick Delta Perm Enamel? It is water based, but it says on label not to thin with water.

Hi Sherry,
PermEnamels are no longer manufactured. They had a thinner made specifically for their enamel paint formulation.

Even so, I've never had any success thinning old, thick enamels. I've thrown out my fair share of paints because they just dried out over time. And when I tried to revive them, the pigment would just separate and it was just a big mess.
