Your gourds are beautiful. I love to paint and though I enjoy painting on canvas, it seems to be getting boring. I want to expand my horizons so to speak. I was wondering if you got these gourds at your local grocery store. Also, how do you preserve your gourds? Are they dried out? If so, what is the process for drying them out? I'm just curious because I would love to paint on them but I'm afraid of them rotting and I lose my painting. Thanks :)
HI HEATHER, Cheryl here from Your Decorative Painting Resource. Follow this link https://www.your-decorative-painting-resource.com/drying-gourds.html to learn about the drying process. They have to dry before you can paint them. Personally I buy dried gourds from local farmers. Less work! :o)
