Tracing

What is the best way to trace a design onto a drinking/wine glass? I've been printing an image and taping it to the inside of the glass. Of course this isn't ideal since the picture is flat and the glass is curved. The thickness of the glass can also throw me off depending on the angle I hold the glass.

Cut your line drawing down as small as possible and tape it down on all sides inside the glass.
Yes, it is a bit tricky.

Another way is to trace the line drawing onto plastic food wrap with an ultra fine point Sharpie. Then position the plastic wrap over the glass, slipping a piece of black graphite under the design and then let the plastic wrap conform to the shape of the glass. Use a ballpoint pen to gently go over the design.

I hope this helps!

Bought graphite paper today. Did a practice run on a spare glass. It works wonderfully; exactly what I needed. THANK YOU!
