Painting Stained Wood
by: Cheryl

Hi Colette, Cheryl here from Your Decorative Painting Resource....
To protect the stained wood before painting on it, it's helpful to lightly mist your piece with Krylon Matte Spray. Then mask off your pinstripes and paint them in and then do your lettering. Finish with 3 coats of varnish. Hope this helps!
