Paint for Leather Shoes

I used to buy my hospital shoes - leather Sanita (Dansko) that were hand-painted by an online company that went out of business a few years ago. These shoes are a hard-surfaced leather with hard rubber soles that don't crack or crease very much across the top like soft shoes.

What kind of paint would be best for painting designs on my new, plain leather shoes?

Leather Paint

I haven't painted on leather shoes... probably the only thing I haven't painted yet! :o)

See if you can locate a company by the name of Angelus Direct. They carry an extensive line of leather paint.
