can age affect pebeo glass paint?

Can age affect pebeo vitrea 160 glass paint? I had not painted in several years and when I began a project recently, the paint doesn't glide on smoothly like it used to. Thinning didn't help, so can anyone tell me the shelf life of this product?

It would depend on how they were stored. If stored upside down (provides best seal) in a cool, dark environment, then the paints can last quite some time.
