Vitrail over acrylic markers used on glass object?

Can I paint Vitrail over designs on glass I made using an acrylic marker? I was concerned the Vitrail will dissolve the acrylic design.

Hi there, Cheryl here from Your Decorative Painting Resource...

I've done experimented with that so I can't really say. But here are my thoughts.

If the acrylic marker has been heat-set then I don't think that the solvent-based Vitrails would affect the cured acrylic.

My advice would be to do a sample test before committing to an entire glass project.

Let me know how it goes. If I get a chance I may test that out for myself. I do use the Vitrail Cerne Relief when I want to create a "stained glass" look.
