My Angel Fish & Turtle on a glass bottle

I especially LOVE to paint underwater scenes of reefs, wrecks or fish... on large glass bottles, from past years, which have been recovered from the ocean...or bought from collectors who have saved them....

Hello, Patricia...Cheryl here from Your Decorative Painting Resource. First may I say how much I admire your talent. How wonderful and vibrant your art is!!!! What a perfect subject matter for reclaimed bottles from the ocean!

For those of us dying to know, can you share what kinds of paints / mediums you used in rendering these works of art?

I just think these are beautiful. Do you heat set them or air-dry? And do you sell your work?

Thank you for your kind comments. In answer to your questions, I used mixed acrylics and other mediums to get my desired effects. I have just let them air dry til now, but I am going to try the glossy acrylics as mentioned on this site.

I have just entered the bottles in Art Shows. I don't really paint them for sale, as it is very hard to find such bottles, being that they are relics from the sea.
